The engraving on the face of this stone can just be seen to mark the place where journalist, Henry Stanley, met explorer and missionary, Dr David Livingtone. This stone is at Mugere, south of Bujumbura, Burundi and marks the spot where some Burundians purportd that the two men had their famous meeting. However, it was a place where the two explorers visited together shortly after their famous meeting.
