The Inscription of Comentiolus (Lápida de Comenciolo), the principal historical artifact testifying to the presence of the Byzantines in Spain. 6th century. Municipal Archaeological Museum of Cartagena (Museo Arqueológico Municipal de Cartagena). It reads:
Whoever you may be, you will admire the high sections of the tower and the vestibule of the city, constructed over a double entrance.
