Founder's stock certificate of La Hispano Suiza Fábrica de Automóviles for 500 pesetas, issued in Barcelona on 14 June 1904, signed in the original by Damián Mateu Bisa, co-founder, financier and president of the company until his death (1935) and by the managing director Enrique Trías y Doménech. The graphic design of the share is by the Spanish painter and portraitist Ramon Casas (1866-1932), who depicted the Italian actress Teresa Mariani, his favourite model, in front of a Hispano-Suiza automobile.
