Jersey in 1952 of the Edmonton Mercurys hockey team, the winners of the 1950 World Ice Hockey Championships (different jersey) in London, England, and the gold medal at the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo, Norway. See below. Under Section 32.2 (1)(b) of the Canadian Copyright Act 1985, it is not an infringement of copyright for any person to reproduce, in a painting, drawing, engraving, photograph or cinematographic work … "(i) an architectural work (defined as "a building or structure or any model of a building or structure"); or (ii) a sculpture or work of artistic craftsmanship or a cast or model of a sculpture or work of artistic craftsmanship, that is permanently situated in a public place or building". Fabrics with a highly textured surface including 3D elements have been held to be "works of artistic craftsmanship" (as opposed to 2-D graphic works), and works on permanent public display in museums, galleries and exhibitions have been found to be permanently situated in a public place or building.
