Finnish Railway Museum operates a train of historic railcars from Helsinki to Porvoo. This is our train pulling into platform 11 at Helsinki ready for boarding.

The route follows the main line part of the way, then branches onto a line that is used only for freight. From there it branches onto a preserved rail line that hasn't been modernised, but that runs into Porvoo.

The hardware is interesting, consisting of three powered railcars plus a trailer all from the 1950s and built under licence in the Valmet factory in Finland. They're based on Swedish railcars, and for power use an engine based on a Scania unit, being a normally aspirated 8.1 litre straight eight producing 180hp.
