Paratroopers of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Service (IJAAS) descend upon Palembang in Sumatra, the Dutch East Indies during the Battle of Palembang, 13-15 February 1942. They were "Teishin Shudan" (Raiding Group) a Japanese special forces / airborne unit during World War 2. The unit was a division-level force of the IJAAF.
