This image, acquired by one of the Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellites on 16 May 2022, shows a phytoplankton bloom in the Hardangerfjord in Norway. Starting from the Atlantic Ocean and stretching for 179 kilometres inland, it is Norway’s second-longest fjord.
