- Locality: Crystal Peak area, Teller County, Colorado, USA (Locality at mindat.org)
- Size: 5.9 x 5.2 x 5.2 cm.
- Goethite is pretty ugly in most of its forms, and is rarely seen in actual crystals. One exception is these Colorado specimens, where you see these sprays of lustrous crystals - here, to almost 4 cm in length. Ex. Dave Stoudt Collection.
