Looking south along the E6 road ("Arctic highway") near the centre of Fauske town, Nordland, Norway, towards the roundabout junction with the rv80 road. Part of the fjord can also be seen. The road going to the right in the jucntion is the Rv80 road leading west to Bodø (60 km). The road going to the left is the E6 continuing south towards Saltdal, the Arctic Circle, Mo i Rana (175 km) and eventually Trondheim (660 km along the road). In the centre of the roundabout is a marble obelisk.
