- Locality: De Kalb, De Kalb Township, St Lawrence County, New York, USA (Locality at mindat.org)
- Size: 4.3 x 3.3 x 1.9 cm.
- This is a large, really high quality crystal with deep color and a large translucent zone. The terminations are broad, lustrous, and well-developed, much more than you normally see for large diopsides from this classic locale. It is about 50 grams. This is a superb single crystal.
