Last signing of Cesare Pavese, in the bottom of the farewell phrase «I forgive everyone and everyone I ask forgiveness. Okay? Do not gossip too much.» annotated on the first page of his book Dialogues with Leucò. The book was found on the nightstand in the Hotel Roma, in Turin, where Pavese committed suicide August 27, 1950.
