Machete-like Dutch steel cutlass, with a double edged point and fuller. made in the first half of 20th century for the Royal Dutch East Indies Army to be used in close combat and survival in the jungle. Also used in the Netherlands by the army and police and nowadays still in use as a ceremonial weapon.
