The Brazilian Aeronautical Commission office (since 1951), one of several buildings operated by the Embassy of Brazil, located at 1701 22nd Street, NW in the Sheridan-Kalorama neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The four-story building was designed by architect Lemuel L. Norris in 1901, and is a contributing property to the Sheridan-Kalorama Historic District. The 2009 property value of the BAC office is $3,736,990. Previous owners of the building include Henry Clarke Corbin, Morgan Bulkeley, Butler Ames, Benedict Crowell, and John W. Weeks.

The building located next to the BAC office is the Embassy of Tanzania at 2139 R Street, NW. It was constructed in 1908, and is valued at $2,826,690. Previous owners of the building include William Gibbs McAdoo and his wife Eleanor Randolph Wilson McAdoo, Henry White, the Kingdom of Greece (legation), and the Government of Ghana (embassy).

The building on the far right is 2137 R Street, NW. It was constructed in 1890, and is valued at $2,645,300. Previous owners include Alfred Wilkinson Johnson and the Government of Norway (embassy).
