Asplenium hobdyi (Hobdy's spleenwort). In wet forest near the Mohihi-Waialae trail, The Alakai, Kauai. The rosettes of fronds in this images arise from young plantlets attached to the rachis of a frond extending to the right, belonging to a mature plant that is out of the image. These young plantlets arise along the rachis, whereas in the similar A. normale, they arise only at the extreme tip of the frond.
