Chemistry: Medulla K+ yellow turning red, C-, PD+ dark yellow.
This collection of Aspicilia cinerea was growing on a boulder along the edge of the woodland on the W side of the high voltage power line clearing up hill (N) from Locust Run at the Soldiers Delight Natural Environment Area, Owings Mills, Baltimore County, Maryland, USA (N 39o24.218', W 76o50.582', Elevation 622 feet).
