Beskrivning:
White Dartlet (Agriocnemis pieris) male; commonly found in wet grasslands, especially among laterite outcrops. Agriocnemis is a genus of small damselflies in family Coenagrionidae. They are small insects, commonly known as Wisps or Dartlets.

Agriocnemis pieris are only 16-18 mm long and almost invisible under our feet among the grass while walking. The males are white and pale blue with black stripes while the females have different color morphs.

The existence of several female colour morphs is a conspicuous characteristic of many damselflies that show one male like (androchrome) and several non-male like (gynochrome) morphs.
