The actual trip computer function in a 2004 Acura TL shows the driver's average fuel consumption, speed, distance, and elapsed ignition on time since the last reset. Some vehicles automatically reset these numbers when the vehicle is refueled but in the TL, it must be manually reset by the driver. Here, fuel consumption is shown in American miles per gallon, speed in miles per hour, distance in miles, and elapsed time in hours and minutes, not minutes and seconds.
