An U.S. Navy Grumman A-6E Intruder aircraft (BuNo 161104) from attack squadron VA-95 Green Lizards, assigned to Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11) aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN-65), escorting a Soviet Tupolev Tu-95RTs Bear-D aircraft in October 1982. The Enterprise was on a deployment to the Western Pacific and the Indian Ocean from 1 September 1982 to 28 April 1983.
