Example of a Western Union Telegram (USA), 27 May 1959. Sent from Atlanta GA to Fredonia NY in congratulations of birth of fourth son (RM Fay). Note how the message text is a continuous strip of paper with line breaks denoted by equal signs, which was cut and glued to a form. Also note the courier's attempts to deliver the message, a typo, and the five-digit phone numbers. Telegram form is 8 x 5 & 11/16 inches (20.3 x 14.4 cm).
