The Panama City crayfish (Procambarus econfinae) is known only from the Panama City area of Bay County in Northwest FL. Much of their natural habitat (wet pine flatwoods) has been lost or degraded through residential, commercial, and industrial development. We’re working with our state partners to restore and improve management on wetland properties throughout the species range.
