- Locality: L'Etoile du Congo Mine (Star of the Congo Mine; Kalukuluku Mine), Lubumbashi (Elizabethville), Southern area, Katanga Copper Crescent, Katanga (Shaba), Democratic Republic of Congo (Zaïre) (Locality at mindat.org)
- Size: 4.4 x 3.2 x 2.8 cm.
- A very aesthetic specimen of bubby, botryoidal chrysocolla from the famous L’Etoile du Congo Mine (Star of Congo). The showy mounds of powder-blue botryoids actually consist of tiny, intergrown, chryscolla blades. A bit of scattered, sparkly, primary malachite is a nice accent.
