The portrait depicts the subject of the article en:Bernard Pyne Grenfell, who is a person of public interest. No free replacement can be made because the subject is deceased. Additionally, the company's studio was bombed during WWII, and the majority of the early negatives were destroyed ('Elliott and Fry (floruit 1864-1963)' [Internet], London: National Portrait Gallery, 2004). It is also worthy of note that the picture was probably made prior to 1920. Grenfell was born in 1869, so over 50 years old in 1920. In 1920, a recurrent illness saw him retire to Murray's Royal Mental Hospital, where he spent the remaining six years of his life (Bell HI. 'Bernard Pyne Grenfell'. In JRH Weaver (ed.). Dictionary of National Biography 1922 - 1930. Oxford University Press). The photogravure technique was displaced by more expedient gelatin methods by the 20s. Both Elliot and Fry died over 100 years ago. It is likely that copyright has expired.
